God god I have never been so bored in my life! This film is utter tripe!
1080p quality is very good, but you can only look at the scenery for a while before nodding off.
Take your dog for a walk rather than waste your time with this film.

This was a great movie, beautifully shot, telling a story that not many people know. I have to say that the story is different to the story I had read about the start of his life, but maybe there is a lot of speculation? It looks superb in HD, and is absolutely stunning in places. My main issue is the lack of action, so I hope this is only part 1 about his rise to power, and hope the chinese wars follow....

For anyone who has read about or is fascinated by Genghis Khan you will be disappointed by this film. They had a opportunity to show off one of the best known 'Warriors' of all time and time and again failed to get into the grit that was Genghis Khan.
The story is shallow and misses a lot of his life (early and older) that made up the man.
Very narrow minded portrayal and misses the mark. I hope another movie is made soon that better reflects his personality and legend.

truly magnificent movie, picture and sound quality excellent, but don't be surprised as i was to see english language on the box, it's not it's subbed, but for me took nothing away from the film.......fantastic
