Good film

I actually really liked this film. OK it wasnt as good as the first one which most people agree was an excellent film. However i thought it carried on well from the first movie as this was the real sequel to the first movie. the graphics do look quite dated in parts and the acting is a little silly but i think this is what the starship trooper franchise is all about. It doesnt take itself too seriously. If this film would have had a bigger budget it could of been an excellent film but even though it didnt its still a good film and a very worthy sequel.

yes this is not the most AMAZING SST film that they have made, the first one is totally dominant over MANY films in my eyes and i NEVER get bored of it. I am a SST fanatic, iv seen the tv series (Starship Troopers: Roughnecks) and thought that was just as good as the first film, iv read the book and i have seen the 2nd of the 3 SST films... yes the second as most people agree, was not starship troopers, it lacked the quality, however, it was still a reasonable film but not classed as a SST in my eyes. Now the third film... i saw the trailer and thought to myself "this is going to be RUBBISH!" well, it is better than it looked, i enjoyed the film (minus the TERRIBLE acting and the low budget, which they should have waited upon and not rushed it) and then another thing i disliked was the "marauder" in the title... they are HARDLY in the film, why call it Marauders when they are seen on average of 5 minutes maximum a time?... i am quite dissapointed yet still enjoyed the movie

do not expect the 1st...or 2nd.

It's okay. It has a bit of a twist. The scenary works and some of the action is fine. I think too much was spent on the fed propaganda. They could of reduced them and pushed up the budget on effects in the main story.

Storywise it's okay but has the director suddenly got religious?

I loved the first film. This could have been almost as good!

Uber Cheese

Its cheesey, full fat, mature & smelly. But fun in a kind of post Friday night, curry and beer session kind of way. If you liked the first film, you may enjoy this.

Oh Dear!

After the totally abysmal Starship Troopers 2, when I saw the adverts for this, the third in the Starship movies, I honestly thought that it was a return to form, a worthy follow up to the first utterly brilliant movie...

Then I watched the DVD - And my God I wish I hadn't... I stuck with it and watched the whole damn thing with mounting disappointment, both Casper van Dien and Jolene Blalock looked as if they wished they were somewhere else... The acting was wooden, the script cheesy and cringeworthy and the special effects looked as if they just hadn't bothered!

Please, take a tip... Don't buy this DVD, you are better off waiting for it to come on Sky Movies, believe me, you'll be grateful you saved your money and waited.
