Well after a long wait and many date set backs season 7 of Are You Being Served has finally arrived and i have to say it been worth the wait.

My favourite episode (and 1 which i have waited ages to see "The Apartment")was still as good as i remembered it.

this season sees the deaprture of Mr Grainger (not seen just a banner and farewell lunch) to the introuction of Mr Goldberg(Alfie Bass) who goes from juniour to senior sales assistant in one episode.

7 great stories which sees Mrs Slocombe become senior managment, Mr Humphries a rather poor wrestler and Mr Goldberg an agency tycoon, still as hilarious and great to watch now as it was 29 years ago.

The only down side was the christmas special which as it was a good story and Mr Lucas playing the funniest Punch i have ever seen i did not feel this was very christmasy as past specials were, i mean you did not see one single christmas tree or bauble

But on the whole still worth 5 stars for Mrs Slocombes "Mr Humphries will you please leave my pussy alone"

Long long wait for this series. Didnt think it was ever going to be released. Eventually they did and I was a little dissapointed. The episodes are not quite as funny as the other six series and I hate the new character of Mr Goldberg. Show appears a little tired by this seventh series.

Still miles better than todays 'sit coms'

A long time coming but worth the wait

After numerous delays series 7 of Are You Being Served finally arrives on dvd. Was it worth the wait ? Of course it was - the dvd contains all 7 episodes as well as the 1979 Christmas special The Punch And Judy Affair. This series is just as funny as the previous series and was also the last to feature Trevor Bannister as Mr Lucas and Harold Bennet as Young Mr Grace (accept from a couple of guest appearences in later series). Series 7 also introduced us to Mr Goldberg played by Alfie Bass who only lasted this series.

This series has been delayed so many times. I don't know why 2 Entertain do this. They can guarantee a popular sitcom like this will sell. Series 8 is available on Australian dvd and series 9 is due out soon. Once again us Brits are left out in the cold. Lets hope 2 Entertain pull their finger out and release the rest of the series alot quicker.
