Nothing like ground hog day
Review date: 2008-08-05 Rating: 2 out of 10
A complete waste of money, avoid at all costs, here's why:
***CONTAINS SPOILLERS***
Dispite what the review says, this is nothing like ground hog day, every time Ian Stone is killed he doesn't have to re-live the same day again, he is transported to another reality. For example he starts off as a hockey played, dies and comes back as himself but as a cab driver.
The first few deaths are interesting, we then find out that Ian is being hunted by monsters, the following deaths are usually the result of him being gutted by them.
These monsters are essentialy "boogey men" the film trys to glorify them by refering to them as "like vampires" but the feed on fear.
I wont mention the films only plot twist but Ian becomes able to finght the monsters and can defeat them using the power of love. (no really, the power of love).
The special effects are good but the film is let down by a poor cast and a worse ending.
