As a reasonably well inked woman, I love ANYTHING to do with the art.
I was really excited when this was advertised on TV, as I love Miami Ink and also the spin off with Kat Von D, and was actually feeling pretty pleased that for a change London was getting some respect, as the UK has some fantastic artists, Louis Molloy being the man and legend that he is.
HOWEVER, I settled down in front of the TV................and after tuning in for EVERY episode, felt THOROUGHLY embarrassed and let down by the crap programme that London Ink truly is.
I gave it the benefit of the doubt, and thought "hey this will get better, it has to" but sadly it just got worse and worse, it was NOTHING like the other programmes, and bombed gloriously into a sea of arguments and cringe worthy moments.
I won't be wasting my hard earned cash on the DVD, it could have been so good, but with the rubbish artists he had, and the constant moaning and complaining of Louis Molloy himself (he's really lost all credability), he didn't even attempt to endear himself to his viewers, sorry Louis, but there ARE other artists out there far better.
All in all a really poor attempt......with the right artists and a bit more thought this could have knocked the crown off Miami's head, instead it turned the UK and it's amazing tattooing world into a laughing stock!
