Well i cant say how or when i saw it, but it was good quality and basicaly almost as good as a DVD. So if your watchen this for somthing new, your not going to get it. Dont get me wrong, its a good movie, but thats just it although its shot slightly differently to the series its just like 2 episodes, but if finishes the series off well and is full of fast passed action which is only unique to stargate. But i think any fan would buy this regardless of the content because its a stargate movie!!!!!
Cant wait untill Continum comes out, that will be something different.

The Ark of Truth
Review date: 2008-02-03 Rating: 10 out of 10

Stargate SG-1 Seaon 9 saw the invasion of Ori ships through the supergate into our galaxy in the final

episode of the season. We were left to wonder the fate of our favorite cast and crew, SG-1, along with

the members of the alliance. As we looked on, helpless as Colonel Carter to render assistance, it seemed

SG-1 had finally met their match in the ensuing battle as alliance ships were destroyed and allies lives were lost.

Daniel's and Cameron's failed attempt to locate the Sangraal, otherwise believed to be Merlin's anti-Ori weapon,

appears to render the fate of the galaxy to the self-appointed-gods, the Ori.

Stargate SG-1 Season 10 ensured the survival of our favorite cast and crew. Not even the Ori could

vanquish them with their deadly appearance in our galaxy. Season 10 saw the SG-1 team hurrying to find

Merlin's weapon that would put an end to the Ori domination once and for all. But season 10 wasn't enough.

SG-1 needs more time, and they shall have it thanks to the ongoing commitment of MGM Studios as

well as the cast and crew of Stragate SG-1. And let's not forget the faithful fandom,

without them, this whole venture would be worthless.

Stargate: The Ark of Truth will once and for all seal the fate of the oppressing Ori.

This new movie will bring a conclusion to the primary storyline of seasons 9 and 10 of the SG-1

television series. More thrills and action-packed scenes are planned for this special event movie.

The suspense will end as fans will see the conclusion of the epic Ori saga.

Stargate: Continuum frees our favorite cast, SG-1, to once again explore.

While SG-1 attends the execution of Ba'al, the last of the goa'uld system lords, Teal'c and Vala inexplicably

disappear into thin air. Carter, Daniel and Mitchell race back to a world where history has been changed:

the Stargate program has been erased from the timeline. As they try to convince the authorities what's

happened, a fleet of goa'uld motherships arrives in orbit, led by Ba'al, his queen, Katesh, (Vala)

and his first prime, Teal'c. SG-1 must find the Stargate and set things right before the world is enslaved by the goa'uld.

Stargate "The Ark of Truth"
Review date: 2008-01-16 Rating: 10 out of 10

Now you'd be thinking how can i write a review on some thing which is not out yet... well some how and i am stumb to who gave it to me or how i got it, but to say the least it had french sub titles and otherwise good quality.. the film starts with an explanation and then back to todays stargate with the action going all the way through... i will not go into details to much as not to spoil it for you but old adversaries come back and time is short cam looses his temper a bit and sam gorgous as ever... yes teal'c saves the day and the good ole ancients help too.. wooh! stop giving too much away.. but to let you know this DVD shows what happens after the last episode and the end to the ori or does it!!!! we all thought it was the end for some thing else but not so... yes good film all the way through, the only complaint was the fight with two baloons at the end could of been more energised.. i am glad it is coming out and will still buy the DVD even seeing a copy of it.... it also leaves the end with an opening..especially for the stargate continum

can't wait to see it in HD quality..

Closure on the Ori storyline.......
Review date: 2007-12-09 Rating: 8 out of 10

Obviously I can't review this, no one can.....it isn't even out yet. Just to say, for those who don't know, this is the first of two straight-to-DVD Stargate SG1 'movies' that were planned when it became apparent that the 10th season would be the last for SG1. This first release, 'Stargate: Ark Of Truth' will apparently give us closure on the Ori storyline.

Apparently an 11th season of SG1 was, at one stage at least, on the cards. The writers had intended the story of the Ori to arc through this proposed 11th season. When season 11 was scrapped, and knowing that the Stargate franchise sells very well on DVD, MGM gave the green light for the loose ends to be tied up with these DVD releases. A great idea - and one no doubt welcome by all Stargate fans.

For all those Richard Dean Anderson fans out there, apparently this first DVD will not feature every 'Gaters' favourite hero, Major General Jack O'Neill. However, I believe he will be appearing in the second movie, 'Stargate: Continuum'.

As a huge fan of SG1, I am very excited at the prospect of this movie, and the one to follow it. Who knows, with strong DVD sales....there could be even more to follow!?
