Very Funny film, with some hysterical scenes. I love the fat guy and his Grapefruit!!!! Chuck has alot of fun, with some very naughty scenes and strange positions too!!! Definately a film the guys will love, purely for the endless display of naked women, or merely just to watch Jessica Alba. Its a film for anyone with a sense of humour. So funny in parts...and boy does it show alot of parts!!!!

This film was so bad it prompted me to write my first review. I like the American Pie type films that some reviews seem to think this reflects, but this is just no where near as good. Really don't bother.



Good Comedy; Not as bad as some people say

"Good Luck Chuck" is a story about a dentist; Charlie Logan (Dane Cook) that was cursed in childhood; it has made him wildly popular with single women, sleep with him and next man you see will be your true love but when he meets the woman of his dreams; Cam Wexler (Jessica Alba) he has to try and break the curse to stop her falling for another guy.

This film is not as bad as some people say, ok it could have been funnier and sometimes the story was a bit blah but in total is still a good funny comedy. It would be similar to Dane Cook's previous romantic comedy "Employee of the Month"; if you liked that film then you'll like this one but in saying that would rent this film first, before jumping into buying it.

This film almost had it made. If you are into masculine humour and witty charm, then you will like it. In fact, the only thing that crucified this film, were the typical chick flick scenes which just had to raise their ugly heads and completely ruin what could have been an otherwise very funny flick.

This film is an embellished representation of how men and women view relationships (and I have actually met real like characters, the likes of Dr. boob job and they are surprisingly funny guys). One of the underlying points of this film is that ultimately, what women really want is to get married to a knight in shining armour - and this film pokes fun at that ridiculous and delusional real life concept.

One reviewer stated that this film would only appeal to Americans and 13 year old boys, whilst another reviewer (most likely a staunch feminist) stated this film is an insult to someone with half a brain cell. I have to laugh, since I am not an American (nor a 13 year old boy). I am actually a Neuro-Pharmacologist (and far from stupid). By the way sweetheart, it is neurologically impossible to survive on half a brain cell (or even one). If you are curious about this film then go ahead and watch it, but you will not like it if you are an old fart, a delusional romantic or a feminist.

I dont know what you are talking about. This movie is hilarious; using alot of rude sex jokes... you say that is a bad thing but i think you will that some people find that very funny. The movie also has great music in, i bought the audio CD and this DVD already.

One of the best movies of the year i think... watch it, give it a chance and see who you agree with
