This is by far the best of Bear Grills. I'm a big fan of this sort of show and have watched all of Bear's exploits. Though I still prefer the calmer, more peaceful Ray Mears, Bear is a welcome change of pace and occasionally there are some truly cringeworthy moments (like sleeping inside a camel in the sahara :S).
If you like Ray Mears, bushcraft or the great outdoors and have yet to watch Bear Grills, I definately recommend it. He seems a bit more comical than others of his ilk, even if it is unintentional, watching him slide down hillsides never gets old.
However, if its a choice between this and Mr Mears, go for Ray first, then come back to Bear later on. A definate favorite in the DVD collection!
