Product Description
PLOT SUMMARY: His CIA code name is Condor. In the next seventy-two hours almost everyone he trusts will try to kill him - A man named Turner works for the CIA reading books and postulating possible scenarios that could be applied to inteliigence work. He goes out to get lunch but when he returns everyone at the center has been killed. He calls his superior and asks for someone to bring him in, he tells him that his section chief will get him but when he arrives, the man tries to shoot him, he manages to shoot back and escape. In an act of desparation, the abducts a woman and forces her to shelter him until he can figure out what is going on. When someone goes to the woman's house and tries to kill him, he kills the man and discovers that he has a connection to the CIA, which means that someone in the CIA is behind the attempt on him.
ABOUT THE DVD: This SPECIAL EDITION 2 DISC DVD release by UNIVERSAL STUDIOS for the NETHERLANDS market (Region 2 PAL format, which is the same as the UK, so it will play without problems on all standard DVD players in this country). The text on the rear of the packaging is in Dutch. The main feature is on Disc 1, the films is presented in COLOUR and in WIDESCREEN format (2.35:1 ratio). The AUDIO is the original ENGLISH language (Dolby Digital 5.1), SUBTITLES on the disc are Dutch, Danish, Finnish. Norwegian or Swedish (or they can be switched off, but there are NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES on the DVD). There is a SCENE SELECTION menu on the disc and the total running time is 1 hour 51 minutes. Extras on Disc 2 are 'ABOUT CONDOR', a 25 minute 'making of' documentary from 2003, which includes interviews with Robert Redford and Sydney Pollack. There is also 'SYDNEY POLLACK'S PROFILE' an hour-long look at the Director's work, the original Theatrical Trailer for 'Three Days Of The Condor' and a Photo Gallery.
