Sooo Boring
Review date: 2008-08-27 Rating: 2 out of 10
This film was soooo boring. It did not hold my attention.Almost all of the characters were crazy and talked crazy, and unless you are crazy you wouldn't be able to follow it. It was a shame as there is some good actors in the film. But I couldn't watch the whole film.

Not that bad after allReview date: 2008-02-28 Rating: 8 out of 10The Million Dollar Hotel was widely touted as Wim Wenders's biggest screen disaster on its release, but as so often with films panned by the critics, it's all a matter of taste. Despite the mumbling narrative of the lead character and Peter Stormare's bizarre Liverpudlian impression, this murder mystery tale of the weird, deprived and wacky inhabitants of a run down hotel still manages to hold your attention to the end. Mel Gibson gives a nicely understated performance as a world weary Fed (and freak in his own right) and the score by U2's Bono is pleasant enough. This latest DVD release is widescreen with good sound and picture and has a short featurette amongst the few extras. Worth a look at least and Wender's aficionados will find it ain't all that bad.
