Dont be fooled

Ok so it has Robert Englund in for 5 mins, Tony Todd for 2 mins and Kane Hodder himself for 2 mins-dont be fooled. Potentially could have been quite good. Not bad story but acting is bad and when you see Victor its really so over the top i thought about turning it off. I didnt and thought it wasnt so bad but there are much better films to watch than this. Robert Englund shows he is not really a good actor and Tony Todd is only in for his voice-bloody hell i could put on that voice. Kane Hodder plays Victors Dad for about 1 minute and then he does what he does best and plays a madman. Considering no CGI its worth a watch but dont expect too much.

This film is ok to watch once and thats about it yes the cast may seem good but its not 'kreugar' is only in the film briefly in the intro and the guy who played jason has no character he just kills people in interesting ways but its not scary at all.

hatchet is like friday the 13th meets madman & a tribute to the 80s slasher genre.it is obvious the director adam green is serious about his
horror movies.he even got robert england (freddie kruger) tony todd (candyman) & kane hodder(jason x ) to play roles. i must admit i bought this dvd when i saw who was in it.the story is about the legend of victor
crowley who lived with his father in the bayou swamp,he was badly deformed
& kids on halloween set fire to their shack,the father tries to get victor out using a hatchet but kills him by accident. now present day a group of tourists are led into the swamp & crowley brutally( & i do mean brutal !) murders them one by one. lots of very graphic gore scenes,i bought this unrated directors cut & heads are torn off,guy ripped in half,
anothers arms are wrenched off & a girl gets her face sawn off. this is
really die-hard horror stuff so be warned theres more blood in it than an
abbatoir ! this is a cracker of a movie.well done to director adam green.
