Finally your Vipco video can be laid to rest and replaced with the best UK release to date of this notorious slasher. Although this has been cut by the BBFC (19 seconds - not 34 as incorrectly listed elsewhere) the edits have been extremely well done with no loss of enjoyment (if that's the word!) to the scene in question.
Presented in widescreen with the usual excellent quality print from Shameless this is a must for horror fans anywhere and still looks as sleazy and grim as ever. A nasty but necessary purchase.

Having recently seen this uncut, I can't honestly see why it has been cut. All the gore must have been censored, because those bits are very few, and it is not as nasty as is made out. It was a seriously boring crime thriller, and this cut version will be worse.

The film is great, but I'm afriad its CUT. The infamous razor scene is censored by the BBFC, so if I where you I would by the 'Anchor Bay' version which is fully uncut.

congratulations to shameless for relesing afew gems from the video nastie era,one of the highlights is of course the new york ripper.
this film mixes up black humor,sleazy sex and realistic gore that only a director with a twisted mind can come up with.
shame lucio is'nt still alive to witness his ressurrection.
to some it all up this is the ultimate "stalk and slash" caper without a doubt.
