Firstly, you need to be aware that this is a Region 1 DVD.
I've been a fan of Lesie Sansone for some time and was looking to find a new routine having become bored with her 'Two mile walk' video.
The DVD is divided into three routines for 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 miles. These routines are stand alone with their own warm up and cool downs - no fast fowarding to the cool down if you only want to do the 1 or 2 mile walk. Big advantage on the two Leslie Sansone videos I own. However, the warm ups and cools downs are short enough that if you do want to do more than one routine in one day, it's not too big a hassle.
The routines are simple and based on 4 simple movements, walking (marching), side steps, kicking and knee ups. This makes the routines easy to understand and do. The routines also include weights which make them more challenging.
I find the class very motivational, with a wide variety of people of varying ages and sizes. There is even a token male. Leslie can become a little irritating but I find that there are less of Leslie's more annoying comments on this DVD.
The routines are also easy to adapt to your own level, e.g. you don't have to use the weights or you can follow easier movements by one of Leslie's 'supporters'.
I have two reservations:
1. the free weights supplied look very fiddly to fill with water - I have my own weights so didn't try.
2. the three routines are very similar, the lack of variation could make them more boring over time.
