Robin of Locksley (Armstrong) returns home from defending King and country in the Holy Land, to find a corrupt and changed Nottingham. The ruthless Sheriff of Nottingham (Keith Allen) is now in charge, crippling the poor with greedy taxes and severely punishing them for stealing even a loaf of bread. The ever-gallant Robin and his faithful, if slightly unenthusiastic, manservant Much (Sam Troughton) are determined to fight for the good of these hapless people. This is great, and the HD is wonderful. Very few realise how strongly anti Bush-Blair this series really is, and that's great too! Some poeple eem to take it too seriously and they miss the point. The only problem is the dual HD/DVD format, which totally sucks. A couple of errors on discs are almost inevitable, and sure enough, this freezes on a couple of occasions. Dumb decision to do this, as these are SO much harder to produce.
Otherwise, no hesitation!
