Frustratingly Disappointing
Review date: 2008-04-24 Rating: 2 out of 10
It wasn't a bad idea - having lots of different categories for different types of football moments. The only problem was that there was very little football actually shown.
Each category would have 3 nominees. Yes, just 3. These would be played once, and then we'd have some dreadful drone that was supposed to be a discussion or 20 minutes in the studio.
After this, Gary would show clips from the opinions of "His favourite comedians" (Ha!). They would offer some alternate suggestions (Except one woman, I forget who, who showed her lack of knowledge for football by always picking the obvious one), but there would be no clips. Why? Why couldn't they show it? There was alot of discussion for David Seaman's save against Sheffield United, but because it wasn't a nominee, they wouldn't show it! Why on earth not?
This goes on for a long time, before a top ten of clips we've already seen. It's pointless. Don't waste your time or money on this.

More Football Please.Review date: 2008-04-01 Rating: 2 out of 10To say I was disappointed by this DVD is a complete understatement. I'm usually a fan of Lineker but he's let himself down with this shabby attempt at a DVD. The lack of football in it is the real let down. There is roughly 6 or 7 minutes of pointless chat with Gary and his 'experts' to go with every category of clips. There are 10 different categories which consist of 3 clips each. All of the clips are easily accessible on YouTube these days and are not very rare (eg. Geoff Hurst's 3rd goal againt Germany, Scorpion Kick etc.). If you want to listen to Gary having 'banter' with Lee Sharpe and chums then this is very much for you. However, if you're expecting hundreds of football clips, I would recommend giving it a miss.BLAH ! BLAH ! BLAH!Review date: 2008-01-06 Rating: 2 out of 10Total waffle and dreary opinions, Blink and you've missed what little football there is, with several scenes being repeated......Bought for Grandchildren who totally lost interest before half way through......RubbishA complete waste of moneyReview date: 2008-01-03 Rating: 2 out of 10We bought this for our son for Christmas, but like several other reviewers,we were extremely disappointed with the amount of football clips (only 3 per section)and the inordinate amount of waffle from 'experts' and 'celebrities' in between. A complete waste of money - I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.dreadfulReview date: 2008-01-01 Rating: 2 out of 10My son bought this dvd for my husband for Christmas. We sat down on Boxing day to watch it and to say we were dissapointed was an understatement. He paid £16 for this an the amount of football there was to watch was in total, if you fast forward through all the 'chat' was about, being generous, 10 minutes. Considering the main feature is 105 minutes thats not too good!!! As much as we like and admire Gary Lineker I think this is taking the 'mickey'. If you buy a dvd about football that is what you expect to see, not all in sundry talking for the bulk of the time. I have sent an email to the makers of the dvd but as of yet have heard nothing - suprise. I wouldn't even pay the £7-97 that it is now being offered at.
