Amazon.co.uk Review
The world of cheerleading crashes full-force into the world of young love ala Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story in this boy meets girl, Sharks versus Jets, cheerleading competition where the West-Coast Sharks cheerleading team takes on the reigning champion East-Coast Jets in a cheer camp championship that will culminate in a world-wide tour. Passion and attitude pervade both cheer squads and team leaders Carson (Ashley Benson) and Brooke (Cassie Scerbo) are intent on defeating one another by any means necessary. A chance encounter between Jet Penn (Michael Copon) and Shark Carson sparks a quick romance, but team rivalry and suspicion repeatedly put the two at odds with one another. When a rumble between the Sharks and Jets injures a significant number of cheerleaders from both teams, the rivals must either forfeit any chance of victory or find a way to work together to combine their strengths and defeat a host of significant challengers. The parallels to West Side Story are purposeful and strong, but the incessant snobbish, self-absorbed attitudes of the cheerleaders, the stereotypical actions and slang of many characters, and the surprising lack of actual cheer footage make this program unappealing and at times downright distasteful. Great music like "Get Me Bodied" by Beyoncé, "Never Stop" by Hilary Duff, "Division" by Aly and AJ Insomniatic and "He Said, She Said" by Ashley Tisdale permeates the entire show and the actual cheer footage is spectacular. Aptly rated PG 13 for language, suggestive content, and rude humour. --Tami Horiuchi

Bring it on brought it!!!Review date: 2008-02-20 Rating: 8 out of 10I loved the first Bring It On, was disappointed in the second, and loved the third (all or nothing) so i wasn't sure what to expect from this one.
The story is sort of based on West Side story, with the two teams being called 'Sharks' and 'Jets' and the girl from one falling in love with the other, and street dance stake outs in the middle. Then the two sides having to co-operate for the greater outcome.
I really enjoyed this film, granted it isn't as good as the third, but the routines are amazing and the story line flows very well, and the love story is portrayed very well with interesting twists.
If you enjoyed the others in the series or just enjoy cheer-leading and dance, you should definately watch it.Not quite brought!!Review date: 2008-01-25 Rating: 8 out of 10Brint it on was amazing, Bring It On Again not so much. The series was saved with the ace All or Nothing so I expected something just as good for this installment. Sadly it bears more resemblance to Bring It On again. That's not to say I didn't enjoy it because i did but i love any film with dance involved!!
If you are a fan of Bring it on then you will like this as i did but it is not even close to being as good as All or Nothing! It DOESN'T Bring ItReview date: 2008-01-13 Rating: 6 out of 10I'm going to start this review by saying that I own all the previous Bring It On films, and after the disaster that was Bring It On Again, I was so happy to see a good return of this series in All Or Nothing. However, I was sadly dissapointed by this film, and I really wanted it to be a success.
Granted, Hayden Panettiere is a good comedic actress, and would be a hard act to follow. But the acting in this film was not as good, and a little wooden in places. The storyline was sometimes unrealistic and the lack of locations irritated me. The whole film in set at Universal Studio or a cheer camp...and that's basically it. The humour that was present in the first and third Bring It On films was seriously lacking in In It To Win It, relying mostly on 'blonde' jokes from Jennifer Tisdale's character, which in itself is quite shallow and gets tiresome.
I gave it three stars because the cheerleading routines were good and the romantic storyline was handled quite well. Apart from that, it just doesn't match the standard of Bring It On 1 & 3. It's good old American cheese, which I tend to love, but it just seems like the whole formula for these films is running thin and becoming tedious. If you enjoyed the other films, I would still recommend giving this film a chance, but I would consider renting it first before buying it.Fab!Review date: 2007-12-31 Rating: 10 out of 10Im the user's daughter im 15 and i loved the movie i really recommend that anyone who loves cheering or dancing buys this! and it's just another great sequal to the bring it on series.
Just Bring on the next one!
