Poor sequel for the original Air Bud films

Some spoilers here!
First of all if you have seen the other Air bud films you already know Buddy aka Air bud was already a Father in World Pup, and Spikes Back with his puppies grown up and each does a sport that their father can already do. So I was confused by this title with the new pups because they had already grown up and they were all male!
But having enjoyed the other films I gave it a go. What a waste of money! Hardly any sports are played since the two eldest children Josh and Andrea Framm are away at College, and their younger brother, Noah, is now about 5/6 years old. But rather than explore more sports and indeed the special bond between dog and boy (or girl) it doesn't and it lacks this.
The pups are annoying rather than cute with the added talking (cgi obiviously added). I will admit that AirBuddies gives a good message of teamwork and you are never alone, and helps kids to let go (leave the family nest) but it lacks the original sparkle of the other movies.
