An unfairly overlooked gem.

A group of space travellers in the future are marooned on a distant planet which, it soon transpires, is populated by dinosaurs and outsized arachnids.
This is a film which I spent years trying to track down, and one which is sadly overlooked. It was well worth waiting for. It's true that some of the dubbing is pretty spotty (one woman in particular has a very strange voice), and that some of the 'futuristic' costumes consist of tracksuits and trainers. But what sets this movie apart from the many monster movies is its brilliantly-realised dinosaurs (including one of the scariest T-Rexes in film history) and its atmosphere (helped by creepy terrain and some eerie electronic-sounding music). You soon become involved in the band of survivors and their desperate quest to stay alive in the harsh environment. A great film, had me gripped from beginning to end.
