great boxset, well worth getting, just 1 small thing: I was surprised to notice a typing error onto the boxset. on the top it says "complete series on 36 DVD" and on the sides it says "complete series on 32 DVD"... for the price we pay, this could have been avoided... dont you think?
nevermind, it does not affect the quality of the serie

Xena is one of the best tv series out yet
personally i like it more because gause of the gabby and xena relationship
but the kick ass and story lines are awesome too
If you want it for just the episodes i guess this is the best thing to buy but there are no special features :(
but if you go onto youtube and type xena extras or xena bloopers u can find them all there
p.s when fates collide, the abyss are the best episodes .. them and the pilot of course :)

The previous esteemed reviewer is absolutely right; Xenophiles are set for a disappointment with this release if it's extras they're looking for.If you're happy with just the shows for your £100, then fine as the series itself is fantastic.....action, humour, monsters and the mighty Bruce Campbell!! However there is a way round this problem, and it won't cost you all that much extra. I bought myself a multi-region dvd player off good old Amazon for about £30, and ordered the region 1 Xena Boxset which was £100. AMAZING special features on every disc, interviews with cast & crew, out-takes, etc. Well worth the extra £30, the case is different and so are the series covers....miles better in fact. Thought I'd share this with you, as if you're like me you're getting pretty hacked off that the American market gets a far better deal when it comes to special features and prices.

So buy seasons 1-6 separately for about £30 each now or buy the box-set in October for £100, what a choice. Seeing as there are pretty much zero extras for the individual box-sets and none listed for this collection you can't even justify their purchase. I'm betting there are some ticked-off Xena fans who have finished buying their collection just as this box-set and its price were announced. Ah the quest for making more money from fans.

this is what every fan needs a complete set following the epic adventures of the infamous warrior princess.
there is a nice blend comedy and action and features some of the best characters ever to be on television.
i grew up with this show and the equally as good buffy.
my life would be different without this show.
i enjoy all of these seasons equally.
Best season 1 episode-Callisto
Best season 2 episode-a necessary evil/return of callisto
Best season 3 episodes-the deliverer,gabrielles hope,maternal instinct,the bitter suite,fins,femmes and gems,(the epic finale)sacrifice 1 and 2
Best season 4 episodes-a family affair,crusader,locked up and tied down,between the lines,the covenant,(predictable but good episode)the ides of march and the standalone finale deja vu all over again
best season 5 episodes- (epic opener)fallen angel,chakram,purity,seeds of faith,lyre lyre hearts on fire,god fearing child(feat Hercules),amphipolis under siege, looking death in the eye,Livia,Eve,(the greatest episode ever since sacrifice)Motherhood
Best season 6 episodes-heart of darkness,legacy,the abyss,the exciting RING trilogy,path of vengeance,to helicon and back,send in the clones,a friend in need (the final(SOB)).
i love xena and cant wait to purchase this fab box set.
