There is absolutely nothing positive to be said about this film. The acting, script (if there actually was one), photography and editing are so poor as to be laughable. It;s confusing, disjointed and just a terrible, terrible film.

The scariest part of it is that the film makers may return and foist another rotting carcass of cinematic dreck on us.

I bought this movie by mistake with aload of other movies as a spur of the moment buy as at the time i confused it with the new movie "Diary of the Dead"

I was extremely disapointed when i found out that it was in fact not Diary of the Dead, and even more so when I watched it.

It is a poor excuse of a horror movie, with poor acting and effects. I have watched it twice, the second time just to show friends and have a laugh. All the way through it just seemed to remind me of a school media project with no budget and people who believed they had acting talent.

If you are a horror/zombie movie fan then do not by this movie as you will be very disapointed indeed!

So i reads the reviews by other buyers 9/10 screaming at me THIS FILM SUCKS DONT BUY IT!!! What did i do? yeah i bought it anyway...........At first it looks promising, but after i pressed play it quickly went downhill.
Ok so bad acting usually doesn't bother me that much in zombie flick, but there's this one guy (american) in zombie diaries who is mind blowingly terrible, i mean i actually considered turning the film off every time he spoke, in the end i settled for the mute button. In fairness there are some pretty decent actors as well (i remember this one guy)
Storyline? well what can i say hmmmmmm its balls. I think the storyline had major potential aswell, with the outbreak spreading through london couldve made for a far more interesting storyline. By the end of the film they are focusing on some welsh guy who cuts off fingers and is basically insane....no zombies. LISTEN DONT BUY THIS FILM! IF YOU REALLY WANNA SEE IT BADLY STEAL IT OR SOMETHING BECAUSE ITS NOT WORTH A MARS BAR

What a shame

I really wanted this film to be better. There are some good aspects though, once you ignore the absolutely awful dialogue during the first 15 minutes. Although the dialogue arguably improves for the most part, it's still weak. The redeeming features are atmosphere mostly created by the night shots with hand held camera (too many folk making diaries though!)and the zombies are as good as any I've seen. Can't help thinking that this was an excellent opportunity to make a great film that was not execute very well. Pity!

Rubbish!

This is the first film I have watched that I have felt so strongly about that I had to write the review. Ham acting, no storyline, simply awful! I fast forwarded it through the second half and just wanted them all to get eaten. I am a big Romero fan and this leaves me colder then a corpse.
