Not that bad
Review date: 2008-10-30 Rating: 4 out of 10

If you like your films gory you'll probably like The Thirst although some of the death scenes are a little OTT, the music is good the acting isn't bad at all and although it was probably a low budget movie some scenes are done very well. There is also a comedic element which fits in well with the tone of the film.

Stupid
Review date: 2008-07-02 Rating: 4 out of 10

I love vampire movies, but this one left more than a little to be desired.
The plot is a little fuzzy, but a girl has cancer and her boyfriend is very unsupportive. She kills herself and he is suddenly all upset about this even though he treated her like trash when she needed him the most.
Later on some friends drag him to a nightclub where he spots his deceased girlfriend. After this point the movie sort of lost my attention, but there appeared to be a lot of screaming and vampires. I guess it was supposed to be romantic when the dead girlfriend transforms him into a vampire, but it was just stupid. I mean; why on earth would she want to be with him forever? He's a jackass.
So; stupid plot, bad acting, lots of cliches. One of those movies where you wish for the characters to just die already.
