Thank goodness for Sandra Bullock
Review date: 2008-08-30 Rating: 6 out of 10
If the director, Mr. Yapo, has a thing for Miss Bullock, then this film certainly makes it pretty obvious. I, too, like her a lot which is why, despite the poor reviews, I wanted to watch it. She didn't disappoint but the film itself was a terror!
The move between reality and her 'premonitions' was just too confusing for me. I became annoyed when what I thought was current, turned out to be another day in her dream.
And frankly, at the end, if a car saleman ever drove a car like her husband did, then no wonder she thought he was going to die.
All-in-all, a load of old rubbish - except for Sandra, of course.

BoooooorrrrringReview date: 2008-07-27 Rating: 4 out of 10I was hoping for a throught-provoking, deep, psychologicial thriller but what I got was a weak and poorly constructed film. A decent premise but was let down by a lack of suspense and no great insight into why these events were actually occurring. The acting was ok and as a couple Sandra Bullock and Julian McMahon were believable. It was a bit of a 'nothing' film for me, not particularly chilling, deep, disturbing or entertaining. Although I was quite interested in the outcome, it turned out to be highly predictable and cheesy. A pretty average film, and I don't agree with other reviewers saying this film requires the viewer to engage their brains! It's a pretty bog-standard Hollywood film that doesn't tax the brain at all! Very slow no real story to keep you interestedReview date: 2008-04-26 Rating: 6 out of 10After a few plays over the same events it is time to get a drink what ever if you miss anything who is worried. It will be on again very soon and it had a very weak end you had already worked out ages before. Shame but not for me.Very DisappointingReview date: 2008-04-02 Rating: 4 out of 10Plot could have been so much tighter, in the end was just confusing and depressingThrilling and very clever!Review date: 2008-04-01 Rating: 10 out of 10This film really left an impact. Despite several plot holes that aren't resolved by the end of the film, PREMONITION is a definite film that will have you on the edge of your seats - as I myself was at certain points. The clever usage of time travel is very subtly but effectively used to present both a thriller and a tragedy - and how fate is uncontrollable.
A definite must see!
