Brilliant and compelling story
Review date: 2008-04-22 Rating: 8 out of 10

This suspenseful story is really very good with its twists and turns. It changes time frames with each episode but is easy to follow, and difficult to stop watching. I was reluctant to buy it as so many recent programmes seem to be full of loud grating noises - you know violins in the poignant bits and loud drums and eerie sounds in the suspenseful bits. There is a fair amount of that but it does not totally dominate the story even if it spoils it a lot of the time (hence the four star instead of five). However, it holds you in your seat as this tale of greed, betrayal and revenge unfolds. An added bonus is the shooting of an intolerable mobile phone user on the 'Quiet area' of a train. I suspect that scene gave many people satisfaction! It is a bargain at this price.

Excellent thriller!
Review date: 2008-03-28 Rating: 10 out of 10

This is a bargain of a buy that should be snapped up by anyone who likes intelligent plotlines with some great twists. The ending was fab!The whole show features a stellar British cast who moves this drama along and at a very crisp pace which keeps you gripped to the TV. It is not only overseas TV dramas that can do this. Cannot recommend this enough- not sure about carrying my mobile in the future though!

Mobiles compelling
Review date: 2007-04-03 Rating: 8 out of 10

After watching the recent release of the ITV drama Mobile. I was impressed so much by the most entertaining twists and turns. With the rise and rise of the mobile industries, this three part story makes you realise how we solely depend on our little gadget. If this show was worth watching then I will pre-order and buy the dvd.
The story details a character who feels the mobile industry causing his terminal brain tumour, definately thought provoking in light of the recent claim and counter claims. Next part is a soldier life and his connection with mobile and how after a family tragedy he becomes obsessed to the point of killing. Last but not least the how money and greed cause the boss of a mobile industry in wanting revenge with all stories connecting in the end you actual feel happy for the assassin getting away with it. Be warned make sure to look under the bed when you received you next call.
