A genuine, edge of your seat horror.
Review date: 2008-08-28 Rating: 10 out of 10

I can honestly say this is one of the most tense and scariest films I have ever seen. After the first five minutes were over, I was perched firmly on the edge of my seat. Over the next few minutes I managed to sit properly, but soon after I was teetering on the edge again. What makes this film so scary is the constant feeling that something horrific is about to happen but you are never quite sure what that something is. There are so many bits that made me jump I thought I was going to need a defibrillator just get through to the end. What makes it even more shocking, is the revelation at the end as to who exactly the protagonists are. If you enjoy psychological horrors, and jumping out of your seat every few minutes, then this is one film you can't miss.

A welcome relief
Review date: 2008-08-24 Rating: 8 out of 10

This movie is a welcome relief in todays climate of blood, gore and splatter movies. A low budget and very little in the way of special effects, "Them" relies on building tension and it is very effective in doing so. This is a genuinely creepy movie.

If, like me, you are sick of films that just try and shock you by throwing bucket loads of blood at the screen "Them" is well worth checking out. Ignore the negative reviews and those people who criticise a film because it has subtitles and make up your own mind.

Not very good
Review date: 2008-08-15 Rating: 2 out of 10

This film is silly and badly made. The premise is open to make a good film but it is wasted here with bad acting, no scares and rubbish effects. The film descends into a chase by a bunch of french kids, the them in the title, attacking the adults. For a more realistic feeling of dread at the hands of psychotic teenagers, go into any town centre after 11.00PM and walk around in alternative clothing. This film doesnt come close to the terror on street corners today.

Good fun for any horror fan
Review date: 2008-08-13 Rating: 6 out of 10

As a fan of horror films, to be honest, they are rarely that good, so this was a nice surprise.

Suspenseful, atmospheric and with a nasty little shock at the end, it delivers all you could want.

Not great, but very enjoyable.

It was good until u actually find out who them actually is.
Review date: 2008-07-04 Rating: 6 out of 10

This film is alright, it's got some good jumpy parts and i have no problem with the subtitles it just ruined by the boring ending. The film starts of good as to not knowing who them actually are, so you dont know what to expect so yeah the film is good but then once you find out who them are u kinda of feel like you've wasted your time, on the dvd box it says you'll never feel safe in your home again ha good one. So overall average film ruined by bad ending but the rest is good. So worth a watch, if you see cheap. I got it for 4 in extravision so i wasnt that dissapointed.
