Synopsis

Dancing On Ice is the reality show where pairs of celebrities--coached by professional ice skaters--compete with one another to dance the most daring and exciting routines. Armed only with their ice skates and some seriously glittery costumes, contestants perform specially-choreographed routines each week in front of an expert panel of judges. While they endeavor to dazzle the critics, at the end of the day it is the viewers who make the ultimate decision over which duos go on to skate in the next week's round.

I was really looking forward to seeing the routines from Series 2 and feel we have been let down, there's hardly any routines, far too much narrative, it's really just a loads of clips. Lets face it we buy these DVD's to be reminded of the DANCING ON ICE routines we want to see again. Even the way it's all put together is messy, I'm seriously disappointed!

Ordered this by first class post on the 9th december from AMAZON itself. Arrived on the 20th. Found package to be stamped for ordinary post not 1st class. On opening package found the DVD unsealed and marked with fingerprints, looks like a rental, not good when you ordered new. I think I have ordered my last DVD from AMAZON, there are plenty of other sites out there.

I really enjoyed the TV programme, Saturday nights have not been the same without it! Therefore was bitterly disappointed with the DVD - was expecting to see much more of the highlights. Also, it was annoying that for the few extracts that were included they didn't use the original music. My copy will be donated to local library.

Wonderful DVD

This Dancing on ice dvd is far the best out of the two!
On this dvd you get to see Duncan and Marias Bolero (which is beautiful), The country performance, Jayne and Chris's Flying routine and others too!
they show backstage things, like when the meeet there partners (which is really funny), Kays journey (not keen on her own chapter....) and all sorts ofdangerous moves which you will have seen if you watched the programme.
overall i think this dvd is reallly great and if you are a fan of Dancing on ice or Jayne Torill and Christopher Dean then this dvd is for you!


Dancing on Ice Part 2

I loved the TV show, it took over my Saturday nights!!
I loved watching Torvill and Dean perform every week and of course I loved watching the celebs get better and better as the weeks went on.

I have the first DVD and loved that because it reminded me of how wonderful the show actually is and when I missed the show I could put that on and it would take me back to my wonderful nights in.

Series 2 DVD came out and I bought it on pre-order because I simply couldn't wait to get it. I wasn't disappointed because it is a really good DVD and I think it is slightly better than the first one. It has better content and more routines and interviews throughout it.
I just wish that it was longer with maybe backstage action and more rehearsal action. That doesn't mean it wasn't good because I give it 5 Stars and this DVD is worthy on this.

Also with the first DVD you got an extra - Torvill and Dean's FIRE and ICE and on this you don't get an extra which would of been amazing!!

This DVD is worth buying if you watched the show and loved it!!
