Misleading Rip off
Review date: 2008-05-01 Rating: 2 out of 10
Don't go near this - a DVD of nobodies talking of memorabilia - Amazon should retitle (or withdraw)this as it isn't a DVD featuring the Beatles as the title would suggest.

Absolutely dreadfulReview date: 2008-02-03 Rating: 2 out of 10You can't give an item a zero star rating, or I would have done; one star flatters this "product".Sadly I bought this in good faith without checking it out properly in advance. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. Forty odd minutes of drivel including static shots of the Magical Mystery Tour bus as it is today, an interview with Alan Parsons (??????)a guy who painted his car up to look like the yellow submarine, crowd shots at a Beatles festival and some film of John Lennon's old settee....DIRE!! The packaging, comprising a metal cover, colour booklet and reproduction concert ticket promises great things...alas the title "Archival Treasures" is very misleading; I was expecting interviews and rare film clips from the TV vaults, but there is absolutely NO footage of the Beatles whatsoever. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. A real rippoffReview date: 2008-01-15 Rating: 2 out of 10This has got to be the worst 'Beatles' product it has been my misfortune to buy. The two Americans who present it should stick to doing game shows.
There is no archive footage of the boys themselves and the whole thing seems to consist of strange items from various museums in the States. To sum up it is 40 minutes of overpriced boredom and not something that a true Beatle fan will be proud to own. AwfulReview date: 2007-11-25 Rating: 2 out of 10I was delighted when I saw this item for sale as I have a Husband who has everything and I am always stuck for gift idea's. The tin is fantastic and there is a replica ticket inside. We switched off the lights, opened a bottle of bubbly...and sat mesmorised at the OTT false, non relevent, overly Americanised spectacle before us. There is no Beatles info or footage. Just crazy people who reshape their cars in to yellow submarines and add mortgage busting extensions to their homes in which to store little figures and packs of cards in memory of the greatest band on Earth.......be warned. Unless you are a crazy collector, this is in no way for those of us who love the music and the band. Bitterly dissappointed and I am sure that the official discription was written by someone who had never seen it!!!!!
