Synopsis
A BIT OF A DO charts the comedic progress of two feuding families (the Simcocks and the Rodenhursts) as they are thrust together at a changing series of social events. Mr Simcock is in metalwork (toasting forks, coal scuttles, door knockers) while Mr Rodenhurst is a very respectable up-market dentist. A BIT OF A DO is a hilarious TV series written by David Nobbs (THE RISE AND FALL OF REGINALD PERRIN) witnessing the snobbery and petty jealousies between people thrown together in those fateful occasions. Stars comedy legends David Jason and Gwen Taylor and features a young David Thewlis.
