Awful
Review date: 2008-08-18 Rating: 4 out of 10
A truly terrible film. I still watched it to the end in the same way people watch the wreckage from car accidents. It was un-intentionaly funny, it has the same other worldly view of London that Notting Hill had. The only people i really had any time for were the old couple. All the rest i couldnt care less for. Bunch of pretentious idiots.
That annoying young bloke chatting-up anything that moves, where was his accent from? Ewan mcgregor playing a North London gay, how obvious. The couple being ever so nice and relaxed about their imminent divorce, is that for real?
Basicly i cant understand what the films about, apart from saying; Come up to Hampstead Heath in the summer! its really nice, you may find the odd gay hanging around in the bushes, and meet the odd burk, but apart from that, its lovely!

Great showcase of british talentReview date: 2008-06-20 Rating: 8 out of 10This film was great fun to watch and showed just how talented our british actors, writers and directers are. Great fun to watch. Little disappointed in ending but still a great film and well worth watching.Great!Review date: 2007-12-16 Rating: 10 out of 10Superb writing, acting, story/ies and dialogue, I loved this film right from the start.
Obviously none of the stories are particularly likely to happen, but the filming, writing and acting made the whole thing seem real.
I can't believe this film isn't better known.A lovely film. great on a chilled out evening with a glass or 4 of wineReview date: 2007-11-25 Rating: 10 out of 10A really sweet film with a bitter undercurrent. It realistically captures a summy day at Hampstead Heath (in North London) brilliantly which is perfect for the setting in which a great number of couples, all of whom are currently involved in damaged, messed up relationships or simply at the end or past of end of their great loves.
There is much to admire about the shear honesty of each couples stories or discussions, there isn't a dishonest beat anywhere. It's not a particulary synamic film, almost more of a docunmentary with not start or end, but the film comes off better as a relaxed snapshot of each relationship. Each story is shot in loving fashion, with the Heath taking the role of a character in itself and setting the lazy and relaxed atmosphere for the film throughout. It's nice to see a park being used to create a relaxed atmosphere because after all why do we go to the park in the first place.
So if you fancy a relaxed evening with a nice glass of wine and not much to concentrate on but without the falseness of most this is a great one for you to rent or even buy.RubbishReview date: 2007-09-02 Rating: 2 out of 10This film is a piece of crap. It's not funny and most of the characters are totally unbelievable. It feels like you're watching people read a script rather than actually watching true life. Some of the way the couples speak to each other in the film is just ridiculous, no normal people speak like that.
