A workout that actually works
Review date: 2008-01-02 Rating: 8 out of 10
Although peapole say this DVD is boring because it repeats the moves a lot, it is great for losing weight and toning up. i would rather have a workout thats not as challenging but works than a difficult one that i cant feel working.
An ideal comparison is Latinasize by lilia from strictly come dancing. Her DVD is far too difficult and complicated with no time at all spent teaching the steps. Whereas Coleen's can be picked up straight away without having to rewind and see the step again. You can get on with the workout straight-away without exercising your brain too much and actually feel like you've done a good hours exercise by the end of it.
The girls are fun and likeable, and I found it to be extremely good value for money as I paid only £9 for it, unlike the over-priced 'Latinasize' for £18
However i do agree that it is not suitable for someone with bad knees as there is a lot of jumping and squatting.
Overall, i had fun with this workout and toned up and lost weight.

High impact butReview date: 2007-06-25 Rating: 6 out of 10I'm a bit of a fitness fanatic and love high energy, high impact cardio exercises. I do a couple of DVD's before work in the morning as well as my normal gym routine in the evenings so I do do a lot, and I know how far I can push my body. I like the way this DVD has a lot of cardio but I found it so repetative with the moves. The most irritating thing for me is the pressure the exercise puts on the knees, without any warning or alternative exercises if you have bad knees.
If you like high cardio and dont have problems with your knees - then this is a good workout and I have to admit a zillion times better than I expected from Colleen.MUCKReview date: 2007-02-13 Rating: 2 out of 10I thought this was the most boring DVD ever. It's broken down too often like for approx every 8 mins there is a pause then onto the next exercise and each section is so mundane......like 8 mins of jumping jacks, eight mins of squats....no alterations in between just boring. Depending on the strenght of each of your muscle groups some 8 min sections are either too difficult to do (maybe because of boredom your thinking of the pain so much) or too bloomin simple to do. Basically it's need more flow, alterating and less pauses so your heart rate is kept up also with all the pauses it seems to go on forever and you don't feel your getting your full 60 min work out.
