THE LAST LEAP!Review date: 2006-12-28 Rating: 10 out of 10Superb ending to the best sci-fi show ever. Sam Beckett makes his last leap. There are rumours that a new series is in development called 'A Bold Leap Forward.' Where his daughter gies looking for him. Whether that ever gets off the ground, I don't know, but watch thelast episode and decide for yourself where Dr Beckett goes.Excellent - just as good as the other seasonsReview date: 2006-12-27 Rating: 10 out of 10Only time will tell if this is the last time we see Quantum Leap. The new series (a bold leap forward) has been in development hell for the last couple of years. This is the last season (1993) of the original QL series and it's excellent. Alot of people think that this is when the series jumped the shark / quark but I disagree. It never did! This is one of the best seasons! The leaps into Lee harvey Oswald, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe are superb, the trilogy episodes are great as are the Evil leaper episodes. I think that's were Tru Calling got the idea for Tru's oppisite Jack! The show is as fresh as ever, no music cuts this time round and the picture is incredible. Digitally remastered for great viewing. Guest stars include Jennifer Ainston and Brooke Shields on a deserted island! Complete your collection today, thanks Universal playback for releasing this uncut and please bring Sliders season 4 to DVD ASAP!
Last Season Review date: 2006-12-25 Rating: 10 out of 10This is a great last season of Quantum Leap with the outstanding multi-part episodes 'Lee Harvey Oswald' and the 'Trilogy' in which we find out that Sam has a daughter. This is a sparkling season which saw Sam leap into the lives of stars such as Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe. The final enigmatic episode 'Mirror Image' is very touching and a fitting farewell to Sam and Al. The Final PartReview date: 2006-11-12 Rating: 10 out of 10I have been waiting for this to come out on DVD for years. Sometimes I wondered if they would every release it in the UK. My VHS recordings from the TV are slowly breaking up and of all the 97 episodes that were made, the final series was the best. From the "Lea Harvey Oswald" two part episode to the Final show "Mirror Image" you will be stuck to your seat. There are a few twists in the episodes in this final series, and the trilogy episodes are some of the best, along with the Evil Leaper (time to turn the lights down) Well I can't wait till the DVD comes through my door but why release it on Boxing day? Have I got to put up with all the rubbish on TV over Christmas, can't Santa delivery it on to me for Christmas to fill my stocking? Well I'll just have to watch the previous four series.
