Light-hearted but it addresses the issues too. Great story and I was surprised I hadn't heard of this guy being a dance music fan. Great soundtrack and a great take on the music industry showing how the rise to fame and the fall back down can take its toll. Paul Kaye is a funny guy and plays the part well.

A wonderful film........

This, in the hands of our cousins across the pond, could have turned into revolting soupy, sugar coated nonsense. But it is in actual fact a wonderful positive and funny British film without a sniff of overt sweetness anywhere. Mr. Kaye (who is a fantastic actor and worthy of greater note than he is currently experiencing) is superb in the role of a Ibiza DJ who goes deaf, and how they cope with this situation. Almost a Pygmallion piece, it is an excellent fim, and one I missed on it's first release at the cinema. I can highly recommend it, and the special features are worth every penny. 10/10!
