Totally agree with most of the other reviews.I too bought this to replace my worn out VHS copy and was very disappointed it didn't include the actual Olympic performance.

Not what I expectedReview date: 2008-03-16 Rating: 6 out of 10As with most people I expected the Olympic and World Championship footage and not a pro version, sadly I will just have to make do with memories.ICe-tastic!!Review date: 2007-11-04 Rating: 8 out of 10I am fan of Torvill and Dean, even more so since they started to do Dancing on Ice a couple of years ago.
When this DVD came out I had to have it and relive some of their favourite routines. This DVD does what it says, it shows their favourite routines from over the years and they are good but some of the clips aren't the best clips which makes it a little poor quality for the money but it doesn't take the enjoyment and pleasure of this DVD.
It gets a 4 because of three of the clips could of been better versions of them, if they'd put better versions on (by that I mean closer camera work) then it would of gotten a 5.
It's worth every penny and should be bought by those who are into ice skating or Torvil and Dean or even those of you who like the TV show.
Torvil and dean - Golden momentsReview date: 2007-03-11 Rating: 8 out of 10Some of the sequences were spoilt by the lighting and the camera angles but this DVD was worth every penny for "Mack & Mabel" alone!more bronze than goldenReview date: 2007-02-20 Rating: 4 out of 10I bought this to replace my well-worn VHS collections, hoping that the quality and performances would be the best possible. Sadly, they're not. Some of the routines (Barnum, Mack & Mabel etc) are from original competition footage so are great but others, like Bolero and Let's Face the Music are from T&D's Let's Face The Music Tour (which appeared on video ten years ago) and come replete with awful lighting, half-dead audience and distracting camerawork which, for me at least, all but ruins the majesty of these routines. I can only assume that the people who put this together didn't fancy the cost of securing the rights from competitons. Bolero, for example, has none of the atmosphere (nor Chris' famous splits!) of the 1984 version so is a big let down. And where are other true classic performances like their Song Of India routine which they performed as professionals? Looks like I'll be hanging on to my fuzzy old videos a little longer!
