This dvd set is great. Though it could of been better had the digital
transfer been in digital stereo or thx. Still it's enjoyable and it
introduces the audience to the origins of the bionic woman.Still it's
fun brings back great memories of the seventies.

Disc 6 Bionic woman part 1&2 bad digital transfer

I like the new slim case desgin disc 1-5 are perfect 10 but disc 6 Bionic woman parts 1&2 become distorted the rest of disc 6 is perfect any one else have this problem or is it just my disc 6 please let me know
No video restoration or remastering

I'm disappointed that there has been no remastering of the episodes. They look faded as a previous reviewer has correctly stated. Universal-Playback remastered and restored the video of the Bionic Woman Seasons 1 & 2 DVDs but why not for the Six Million Dollar Man DVD series??
The stories and action of the episodes are great though.

Firstly its great to have these episodes in season format as there is a whole generation waiting to discover them. After the success of the first series you can tell the studios were rubbing their hands at the thought of a second series and Harve Bennett delivered a good 22 episode season that still hold up well. One of my favourite episodes is 'Taneha' with the gorgeous Jess Walton.
But that's not my problem.
My problem is with universal and the awful way the second series has been repackaged. The episodes are by no means 'remastered' as they look as if they've been left out in the sun for a week! They are faded and the sound track is in mono - where's the stereo sondtrack? The packaging is cheap too. The first season had a book page package where these episodes are two discs in wafer thin slip cases in an almost paper case ! and there are still no extras in this set.
Universal please look at warner brothers efforts on say, wonder woman. Beautiful picture quality, so-so packaging but at least they provide a bonus documentary !

I live in the USA. Forget about the stupid trademark infringement wars between studios! Just head down to your local Wal-Mart and buy a $39 all-region DVD player that converts PAL to NTSC on the fly! I did, and the episodes look awesome!
Shipping time from the UK took about 2 weeks. The staff at amazom.co.uk are pleasant and knowledgable.
I will be placing many more orders from them for TV DVD sets that the idiots in the USA won't release.
