DVD Description
The Stephen King Collection contains six of King's most iconic works in one box set.
Based on Stephen King’s 1986 bestseller, this is a jittery jolting excursion into personal fear starring Harry Anderson, Annette O’Toole, John Ritter and Richard Thomas. A malevolent force in a small New England town takes the shape of a clown (Tim Curry), but he’s not clowning around. Instead he terrifies youngsters and brings some to their untimely doom - until some wiley kids fight back. The evil resurfaces 30 years late: meaner, angrier, deadlier. And friends who vividly remember youthful terrors reunite to battle IT.
A prequel to the hit Stephen Kings Rose Red, Diary of Ellen Rimbauer unveils the twisted marriage of a matriarch to a promiscuous early 20th-century industrialist and the haunted beginnings of an enormous Seattle Mansion that has come to life.
Is Rose Red Mansion Truly haunted? To find out, professor Joyce Reardon (Nancy Travis) invites 6 people - each with a distinct paranormal skill- to join her on a phsycic field trip to reawaken the estate’s supposedly dormant supernatural powers. So mark your calendar and maybe buy some life insurance.
Jack Torrance (Steven Weber) and his family (Rebecca de Mornay and courtland Mead) move into the sprawling, vacant Overlook hotel to get away from it all. Away from the alcoholism that derails Jack’s writing career. Away from the violent outbursts that mar Jack’s past. But Jack’s young son Danny knows better. He possesses a psychic gift called "the Shining" - a gift the hotel’s vile spirits desperately want.
Secure the doors, check the lights and gather plenty of provisions, The Storm of the Century is coming. And the forecast is horror. Stephen King again takes fans to the brink and beyond with this iceswept, macabre tale about a tiny Maine Island community besieged by a fierce weather supersystem and by an accompanying, all-knowing being even fiercer
A blood-curdling shocker based on the novel by Stephen King, director Tobe Hooper (Poltergeist) sends the time honoured vampire legend soaring on bat wings into the modern era. Sinister events bring together a writer (David Sole) fascinated with an old hilltop house, a suave antiques dealer (James Mason) whose expertise goes beyond bric-a-brac and the dealer’s mysterious, pale skinned "partner" (Reggie Nalder).
