Synopsis
Feeling old? You will be, after a visit to the Bayview Retirement Village run by the ambitious manager and proprietor Harvey Bains. The food's appalling, the staff treat you like incontinent children, and any show of independence is strictly frowned upon. But two elderly delinquents are prepared neither to give in nor grow old gracefully just yet. As they find themselves thrown together by circumstances beyond their control, Tom and Diana strike up an uneasy alliance that leads to many adventures.

I love this series it's fab im 23 and think its the best thing to ever come on dvd, I remeber bits of it off the telly but itas so great to just watch it, when evrer i want, although if i fail my degree im blaming the series

Growing old disgrasefully

Diana and Tom may be drawing their pensions but they are not quite the stereotypical 'little old dears'. Diana is still as politically incorrect as ever and undermines the manager of the retirement home - the idiot Bains at every turn. Tom, her trusted sidekick, is still irritated by his boring son and revolting daughter in law.
This is as good as it was when I first watched it in the 90s.
