The best TV comedy drama you'll see. More about a group of friends brought together by the local TA than actually about the TA. The greatest comedy writing of the '90's or beyond. The writer/playwright deserves much of the credit, his vision is immortalised by a superb cast....many under-rated since. Buy the whole three series and get lost on a desert island and a portable dvd player. See also Neville's Island, incidentally, or Flint Street Nativity, King of Fridges, Black Ball, Calendar Girls, Kinky Boots and Rottentrolls for more of the same writing.
