But saying that they did include Haloes! As Fee himself says, they have never played this song live before ... and it's worth every moment of wah wah that Roger can squeeze out of his "Tubes Rule" effects pedal... sheer magic! Another highlight of the CD has got to be the Russell Chaps track ... "Do the Hussle!" or is that "Do the Russell!". Yes, This is a great example of the Tubes tongue-in-cheekiness. Another example is the She's a beauty intro done country style, fantastic ... "step right up and kiss my grits etc sings cowboy Fee ... he he he Another welcome track is "No way out" from remote Control, it's nice to hear some tracks that have never appeared on a live album before. Yes, once again the Tubes include the rock classics, "White punks on dope", "Mondo bondage" , "Talk to ya Later", "She's a beauty" yada yada yada ... I just wish that they would acknowledge "Genius of America" or "Love Bomb"and play some tracks from them...or even include "Prime Time", a song that they are very well known for. Still it's their album and as ever a must for any Tubes Fan. Slightly disappointed, but not because of the musicianship or entertainment value. Just by the choice of tracks.

Well, maybe because I was at the Bristol date of this tour I was expecting a bit more from the CD, hence only 3 stars (eek! gasps! horrors! how could you!). All in all the Tubes deliver a first class performance as usual, but I was expecting at least one or two of the newer songs to be on there - after all they are on the DVD version of the same gig.
