Works on all region Blu Ray players
Review date: 2008-07-02 Rating: 10 out of 10

I live in the UK and had this imported. It works on my Playstation 3 and 1080p television. Great film but contains a lot of light grain. noticeably more in some scenes than others. In scenes where the GREEN LIGHTING EFFECT is used in is barely noticeable. However it doesnt compare in quality to such films as Sign's and Casino Royale.

Better than the 1st SAW
Review date: 2007-07-21 Rating: 10 out of 10

A shocking, thrilling, exciting movi, filled with a great unrolling storyline, and is by-far better than saw 1, which in its self I would rate 95%/100%. You have to watch saw 1 to really understand it, though it is more connected to saw 3. It`s about a group of people trapped in a house, [among which is the murder masterminds accompless], and they have to recover antidotes to survive nurve gas that will kill them in 2 hours! Bloodloss is the only way to survive in the saw world, and this film has plenty!-Enjoy!

GAME OVER, (OR IS IT?)

MUCH BETTER THAN SAW 1

FINALLY, THE PACKAGE THIS FILM NEEDED !
Review date: 2007-03-09 Rating: 8 out of 10

Modern Mainstream horror is generally terrible, for a while now its been all the same terrible remakes and sequels and boring unorigonal garbadge, a few have stood out, a couple of films, and then therse the Saw series. Origonal, thrilling, brilliant and now infamous twists, although these films arent too gory they do have their moments and will entertain most gore fans reasonably with their creativity and the tone of the films. The acting is also pretty bad generally, which will give the hard core horror fans some familiarity to these films aswell.
So this new series is really a break from modern mainstream horror, a horror series that will definetly be rememberd-and is aleready getting cult horror status.
Yet, i must admit, of the 3 films that were released when i wrote this review (Saw4 is in the making), this is my least favorite of the series. Yet thats not too much of a down for this film, as this is still a pretty good film.
The main flaw, if not the ONLY flaw, to this film, is that one of the characters in the film just goes on a rampage, kiling the rest of the characters when their aleready facing death, which just turns this VERY high potential and very origonal film (like the first) into a bit of a slasher movie. Yet this isnt enough to make it not good enough to enjoy it.
The death scenes are generally pretty bloody and creative as the series is usually due to the machines and mechanisms used, along with the dark and eary atmosphere to the movie makes a great tone to the deaths.
Yet this film had nothing but a boring single disc edition with nothing near a decent extra to be honest. And a special edition is just what this film needed, and this is one great special edition, that looks great and has loads inside it.
All we need now really is a half decent release of Saw3...

Fantasticly Horrific!!

BUY SAW 2 AND BE SMART!

saw 2 provides very scary and cover your eyes scenes!
All deaths are carfully planned and far better
than saw 1!

Tobin Bell is a hell of an actor and so are the rest of these
characters! Mand twisted ansawers must be solved and far harder
and complex deaths to figure out! This is a real brainteaser as
well as its horrific stroyline!

Acting 9/10 excellent
effects 10/10 top notch and it looks so real!
deaths 10/10 extremly well planned and hard to look at
twist 1 10/10 a great ending to this thriller
twist 2 9/10 unkown and you would never be able to guess it
twist 3 10/10 Shockingly suprising
WATCH IT!!!
