this is a fun little movie with lots of action (and some silly romantic moments) i remember seeing the film when it first came out but it has sadly dated, even so it is a fun movie to watch on a rainy day....
(come on its Britian its always raining)
If you love military movies or things that fly and fire bullets then this ones for you

bought this as i hadn't seen it since i was a schoolkid when it came out
forgot how cheesey the acting was and 80 mins run time means its over before it starts.having said that tommy lee jones is memorable and flight sequences good
Fire Birds

This film is good. All involved play their parts well. What you get is a feel-good, american hero, let's kill the drug lord kinda film.
Good action, explosions, arrogant young pilot who comes good. A love interest. All the ingredients of Top Gun, but without Tom Cruise.
Better, in my opinion.
And Amazon, please list this as Fire Birds. It makes no sense having two listings for the same product.
Top Gun For The Army

This is a fair to middle dvd you put on when a bloke wants just to sit back and dream of doing something like blowing up stuff! Tommy Lee Jones is great in this film as an old warhorse refused to go on operations and Nicolas Cage is the new young upcoming arial assassin and protogee to Tommy, with and old flame returns to stir things up on the side Sean Young. All in all a good film to watch if you like no nonsense dogfights with AH 64 Apache helicopters. Enjoy
