Disappointing!

It's such a shame but we were really disappointed with this dvd game. Terry is a little gem, as always, but the game play is a bit naff (this seems to be dvd games in general however).
It's a bit slow, and the answers given by the (unimaginitively named) imaginery panel are just not realistic at all! Imagine, they ask the panel "BLANK-dog" and they would often come up with something completely bizarre like "carrot-dog", making it a bit pointless trying to go for the most common answer!
We'll never bother playing it again.
On the whole from my experience DVD interactive games are terrible - slow, frustrating and a complete waste of money... I recommend getting "Buzz" on the Playstation instead, it's utterly fab!!

Don't waste your money!

I bought this game for Christmas to play with my family who love all the Blankety Blank programmes. We were so disappointed and it was such a waste of money. All of the 'celebrity' turns are just first names on a blank sheet so there isn't even any cartoons or images. As they do their bit it just puts a word up on the screen (which doesn't disappear fast enough!) and there are no sounds or anything that goes with it, so you loose any kind of spirit of the game. Some of the things they choose are so completely random - which might work on the real shows where you have a bit of chat with the presenter and see people's personality, but it so doesn't work on this game. We also found that despite loosing to the DVD on the first rounds we still got through to the final super match game part so it wasn't even realistic. I think the celebrity turns make everything in the real show and you might pick a certain blank because of that so without it this is awful.
Save your money, don't buy this product unless you want hours of boredom!

Terry Wogan is back to host this old favourite gameshow on interactive dvd.
Plays just like the t.v show and not too difficult as each question is accomponied by a host of possible answers with the loser getting the old cheque book and pen.
Great for all the family,young and old,and will help pass a couple of hours if nothing is on the television or it is raining outside.

The concept is good - the games are fun - and even the hologram of Sir Terry is very real ! Pity there are no faces to the panel who're helping you. Nonetheless, well worth buying !!
