Classic? Slight overselling.

Don't buy this DVD, as out of the 250 goals here, only approx 4 can be described as 'classic'. Thats the very first two and the final two, which cleverly bookend the rest. The other 246 that are used to fill could possibly constitute some of the worst Premiership goals ever seen. Goal mouth scrambles, 2 yard headers, deflections, tap ins, goals off the shins. If the goals were comical then it would be ok, but the case is that the 246 goals here are painfully boring. Watching any Match of The Day during the course of a season will be more fruitful. And its surprising how much the quality of the premiership has improved since the early days (and this DVD is weighted heavily to the early Prem) of Norwich, Swindon and Oldham. No disrespect as my own beloved Ipswich feature heavily here, weirdly only in the season where they set the Prem record for the lowest amount of points scored in a season. Which just goes to show the desperation in the compilation. I assume it only has to do with the rights of Sky in giving out footage. Luckily i watched this on Rental DVD. Part 2 is on its way.
