I remember watching this on tv and liking it so much I recorded it the next time it was on. I actually forgot about it until I started listening to Reiki music, and it somehow brought it back to me; it's now in my Wishlist.
It's basically about a masseuse (Brian Brown) and his relationship with his client (Mimi Rogers). But as the title suggests, this isn't really a sexually explicit film. In fact, sex hardly plays any part at all. Instead, we get an intense exploration of the soul and mind, hence "Full Body Massage". The film has barely 6 characters to its name; its main focus is both Mimi and Brian as they argue and challenge each other's ideas; exploring issues of spirituality, consciousness, happiness. Though it might seem a lame idea in these increasingly cynical times, I found the entire film quite moving and thought-provoking, with both Mimi and Brown playing their roles wonderfully. A highly under-rated - if not ignored - movie.
