I totally agree with the reviewer above. Season five of Andromeda is one of the most depressing and disappointing seasons of any show I have ever watched. Almost every episode left me feeling flaccid and incomplete. The introduction of the Blonde Bimbo is nothing compared to the utterly juvenile plot and script of almost every episode. The idea of sending the crew to the Sefra system at different time was a good enough idea, but it seemed to completely ruin the chemistry that the cast had. If you by this series you are wasting both your money and time.

Disappointing

What a let down. After the high note finish of series 4, this series is limp. It staggers from one digression to another haunted by the, it seems, compulsory refugee from soap opera land...The Blonde Bimbo, who unconvincingly plays another of Harper's creations....He must have been watching too much Eastenders!. As with other promising Sci series and films the inclusion of The Blonde Bimbo just about reuined the whole series as well as detracting from the superb betrayal of Rommy. Do not waste your hard earned on this poor excuse of a series. The only episodes worth while are the last three, and I still reckon a better plot would have been handy.
Fair play to the rest of the cast (apart from Blonde Bimbo), they all gave, it seems, of their best while having to cope with a poor plot, bad writing and an unconvincing ending.
Lets have a Series 6, after spacing Blonde Bimbo, with the dynamic writing displayed in the other series, and for crying out loud, tie up the many loose ends - I get the feeling that I am looking at a plate of spaghetti.
You can do better, please do !.

I must say this is a fantastic release of the final series of Andromeda. Audio is fantastic, Video quality is not fantastic.....its beyond fantastic. Crisp clear scenes all the way through. All 22 episodes here, so this should keep anyone occupied for a while.
