London's Burning was, and still is the best programme ever made. Series 3 has some great shouts, such as a train derailment, and a big car accident, where a tanker explodes. You cannot go wrong with this; I Recommend you get this, you wont be dissapointed. Get all 4 series that are out. You wont regret it.

Series 3 of 'London's Burning' is definitely one of the best, combining some of the most dramatic, action-packed storylines with some meaty subplots and a terrifically humorous set of scripts by the the brilliant Anita Bronson, a writer of whose caliber today's television is severely lacking. Add to this wonderful characters in the shape of Station Office Sydney Tate and Area Commander Bulstrode played brilliantly by 'Blake's 7's' Gareth Thomas, and you have an absolute winner of a series that demands to be viewed again and again.
Series 3 also marked the time when ITV started injecting extra money into the show to beef up the set pieces, and the credit for this goes to the producer Paul Knight, who was told by ITV bosses to cut the budget, and instead replied 'No. It's one of your top-rated dramas. I want an extra 100,000 per episode!', the results of which are here for all to see. Enjoy!
