Classic timeless comedy
Review date: 2007-11-05 Rating: 10 out of 10
As brilliantly written and acted as ever. Only one drawback is the absence of the character 'Nick,' who was one of the funniest actors in all of the previous series.

the funniest series yetReview date: 2007-07-08 Rating: 10 out of 10I have always loved my family from series 1 but this series beats them all. All the characters have their moments from susan the control freak, Ben the mean destist, Jenny the fashion freak and Michael the cleaver kid Its makes the whole series very funny. If you have not watched it yet I advise you to soon. FantasticReview date: 2007-02-25 Rating: 8 out of 10This is a brilliant DVD with some truly hilarious episodes, the best being 'What's Up Docklands?' with the highlight being susan throwing a dvd out a penthouse suite window in slow motion whilst Ben runs around with a buring pizza in his hands - dont worry i didnt just spoil the plot. Only disappointment in the absence of Nick who was the funniest of the cast by far, I recommend the previous series even more, particularly 2 and 3.Steady descent from sitcom great to rehashed nonsenseReview date: 2006-11-26 Rating: 4 out of 10It started with the loss of undoubtedly the best character of the sitcom Nick, who only appears in one episode of this series. It continued with the regular appearances of unfunny Roger Bailey.
My Family was such a loved and successful sitcom because it was a representation of every-day family life going wrong. It has turned into increasingly unrealistic circumstances with less funny characters and a less intelligent script.
For those new to My Family, series one was original and funny, series two hilarious and inventive, and series three and four both having their moments. For those who are adequately familiar with My Family, I should not have to tell you to avoid series five and six like the plague, as they undo all the excellent work done by the previous series'.My Family - series 5Review date: 2006-11-16 Rating: 10 out of 10This series gets whackier and better! Lindsay & Wanamaker are fantastic.
A great tonic for when you are stressed out!
