A Pleasant Suprise

Having read the Avengers as a child and growing into adulthood I enjoyed the various different artisitic talents that have graced Marvel's pages over the years.
I stopped reading the Avengers a few years back and was abit sceptical and reluctant to view this enterprise but was rather pleasantly
suprised as to how good this animation really was.
It is like watching an actual movie and its quite easy to forget it is only an animated creation.
Ultimate Avengers II is an action packed story containing drama, love, death, ala War of the Worlds style and the artwork is just superbly dynamic!
Not wanting to give too much of the plot away this story highights the plight of the Black Panther against Alien aggressors.
Joining forces with the Panther are Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, The Wasp, Black Widow, Giant Man, Nick Fury and the Hulk !
What IS interesting is the social interaction between the major characters while the main plot continues around them.
There is Captain America carrying his 'emotional baggage' from WW2 making him a threat to lead the team, the contempt Odin has for his son Thor in his continual persistance in protecting humans and Giant-Man & Wasp's turbulent relationship resulting in tragedy.
You quickly forget it is only an animated movie as the action and drama unfold and so with that in mind I higly recommend this animated feature.
