Scary Good Fun!

I couldn't believe that this boxset is the scream edition and it has Yvette screaming on the front! What a classic! I have finished the episodes and on the extras, some of them I have seen on Sky but many of them I haven't and boy, they were scary! I'm a massive Most Haunted fan and I can't wait to see the full ones of series three, I nearly got the whole collection of series and I would love to join their gang! Very scary good fan, I like it and the free torch!

The Scream Edition

There are certain features which make this boxed set particularly collectable. There is a button on the cover which when pressed emits the sound of Yvette screaming. It also contains a credit card style LED torch. This was the first boxed set to be released with animated 3D menus, commentaries, fact files and the first celebrity episode.
This series introduces paranormal investigator Phil Whyman, psychologist Matthew Smith, parasychologist Ciaran O'Keeffe and last but not least historian Richard Felix. Mr Felix's great talent is describing the history of a location in the most creepy and sinister fashion imaginable.
At Tutbury Castle in staffordshire Derek contacts the spirit of King Charles I no less. Derek tells us he was a very small man who wore platform shoes. Phil and Yvette hold a late-night vigil in the great hall. Someone or something is tapping on the window from outside. At The Station Hotel in Dudley a very impressive light anomaly is recorded in a bedroom. A night vision camera is placed in an empty bedroom and records the unexplained movement of a chair and bed. In The House of Detention, London, Derek finds himself in emotional turmoil as he confronts the spirit of a man who committed many atrocities when alive. And for the first time in his career he is prevented from communicating with his spirit guide "Sam". At Brannigan's Nightclub in Manchester the team enter the tower above the club and immediately smell what Yvette calls "baby sick". Derek is then possessed by a negative spirit to the entertainment of the crew. A dictaphone is left recording when the team leave the area. What is recorded sounds like a baby being sick. The seance conducted later on proves to be one of the most eventful in Most Haunted's history. At Pengersick Castle in Cornwall Derek encounters the spirit of man who practised dark alchemy in life. He is grounded along with a "monstrosity" from the lowest regions of the spirit world. Karl and Rick are walking in the castle grounds when they hear someone running towards them. They turn around to see nothing. At The Clock House in Surrey Derek experiences a first in his career. He meets a man who is a living example of reincarnation and who lives in this particular house because he did so as a nobleman in the thirteenth century. The celebrity edition at the world famous Belgrave Hall features Vic Reeves and Nancy Sorrell. Members of the crew witness ghostly figures but this episode will be remembered for the dramatic effect the place has on the crew.
This particular boxed set may be difficult to aquire in new condition. Alternatively, I would recommend Most Haunted - Series 2 - Complete.
