pure amazing dobro talent!!!!!!
Review date: 2007-07-06 Rating: 10 out of 10

i really cant recommend this album enough, its a pure work of talent, which is rare these days with so much crap polluting our ears on the radio and mtv. i first heard about rocco deluca and the burdan on the sky one documentary "i trust you to kil me" (which is also worth getting now its on dvd) cause im a big kiefer fan. there are some people who think that they only got where they are because of mr sutherland but if you listen to them then its extremly clear that rocco is gifted, not only with amazing slide guitar skills, but has an incredible voice. i seriously cant get enough of this album its a true jem, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED! GET IT NOW.

Utter Disappointment
Review date: 2006-07-28 Rating: 4 out of 10

Admittedly he has a good and varied range to his voice but the blandness of the actual songwriting combined the fact that the lyrics show naivety on this guy's part...

I really wanted to like this album based on the hype that had surrounded it, but there are so many better musicians out there.

I'm not a huge fan of Ben Harper but he does everything that Rocco does 100 times better.

See 'em Live - Even better!
Review date: 2006-07-17 Rating: 10 out of 10

I saw the Sky One documentry on their first tour and fell in love with the music. I bought this album and I can't stop playing it! My favourite song is Swing Low, Rocco Deluca can play his guitar and this album really sings the praises of his unique and individual talent and style!

Recently saw Rocco Delucca & the Burden live at The Cornbury Festival in Oxfordshire! I was blown away by the whole band. If you love the album get to a show they are back in the country in August 2006! Get a ticket!

Album Of The Year
Review date: 2006-07-15 Rating: 10 out of 10

I heard about Rocco Deluca and The Burden when I caught the documentary I Trust You To Kill Me on Sky 1. Not only was it an interesting film but I fell in love with the band's sound. I picked up the album the next day and it's been on repeat ever since. The tracks have a timeless quality and Rocco's vocals are simpley unique. Among my favourites are Colourful, Bus Ride, Swing Low and How Fast but most of the tracks would make great singles for the UK market. I'm looking forward to seeing the band live in September.

If you're considering picking up a copy, you won't regret it.

Innovative - discovered Rocco via Kiefer Sutherland
Review date: 2006-06-05 Rating: 10 out of 10

Saw the BBC 1 Jonathon Ross show with Kiefer and featured Rocco's Colourful live. Great singer, superb music. It's quite unique music compared to most things in the charts. There's quite a few songs that can be singles. Probably more suited to the over 18's. In my top 3 for the year thus far. Can't wait to see them live.
