A lovely film to watch and feel good about.
The ending is quite a sad one. I don't understand why it takes grown-up Joanne a long time to re-visit Honey and Too Tall, with her children fully grown you would have thought she'd have visited long before.
It is also upsetting that Joanne never manages to return when they are both still alive. That's the heart breaking part of this story. The greatest part is that she is able to break free from her bad-tempered Grandpa and her degraded life style of poverty.
