Not what I expected

There was no synopsis or reviews for this - so it turned out to be not at all what i expected. I assumed it was about devloping your own style. But it is literally about the sound of your kit. Ie it is all about tuning your drums, microphone tecchniques, mixing etc. I am only a beginner so this is not what I wanted. BUT if it was what you were after, I would recommend it - pretty thorough coverage of some pretty technical stuff (yes, others cover tuning, but not miking etc). Hence 4 stars IF this is what you want.
(BTW I rented it, so no great harm done!)
